Next New
A possible "next new" form of new media would be holding interviews in a virtual reality setting. Due to the pandemic, many podcasts and sports interviews are already being held digitally. Virtual reality would allow many content creators and reporters to interview in the same "room", while they could potentially be continents away in person. It would also allow the general public to participate in these interviews as live audience.
I have been watching many interviews lately and of course been attending zoom lectures. Due to everyone being at home, people who show their faces tend to be in a room or have a different backgrounds behind them through settings. I honestly think virtual reality can make people more intrigued in whatever they watch or listen to because its a different world. It reminds of the 360 videos on YouTube where you can turn your phone around in all angles as the video is playing.
ReplyDeleteAs I did researched about Virtual reality, I do agree with you on Zoom part. This pandemic is changed some circumstances about interviews. I think that this change and modify interview system for future businesses.
ReplyDeleteWow that's innovative, I think you are on the right path with this. If the pandemic has taught us anything, its how we can work outside the office and think outside the box. People have been forced to work from home, on a moments notice. This has open a new door to working remotely that has been tried before. I think we can a few interview guys virtually from the other side of the world to widen the talent pool.
